And the winner was…..

Carl Shipsey, who plays Redtooth Poker at the Chestnut Tree in Andover! Carl defeated another 176 players to win the glass trophy and take away £1,650. Unfortunately this wasn’t a feat he could repeat in the main event as he finished in a very respectable 85th place in the National Final.

This is Matt Harrison from the Village Inn in Mosely, Birmingham. He won the VIP tournament today beating 27 other players to take the trophy and also the memorabilia.

The event is almost here and promises to be spectacular with the final 9 players winning a trip to Las Vegas to complete the tournament. If you haven’t already returned your RSVP, please do so as soon as possible. Additional guest tickets are now available to purchase through our website.

Here is Daniel Breach and John Beech ready for the East London regional final dressed as the 118 guys. Unfortunately neither had the legs to carry them through to the national final as John was the higher finishing player in around 20th.

What will the fancy dress be next time?

Neil Skinner from the Royal Hotel in Orkney became the first player in Redtooth history to travel from outside of the UK mainland to play in a regional final. The Royal Hotel have recently completed their second season with Redtooth Poker but after their first season a ferry cancellation dashed any hopes of playing in our North Scotland regional final. On this occasion their luck wasn’t much better as the ferry was again cancelled. But the pull of a Redtooth Poker regional final was so big for Neil that he decided to pay £200 to fly from Orkney so he could play.

Unfortunately there was no fairy tale ending as Neil finished in 50th position.

Rod Williams is dealt Ac 10c and the flop comes Kc Jc Qc. Royal Flush on the flop! How to get paid? Rod bets 200, Mark Tildesley folds, Mike Yeo calls. Turn Ad, Rod bets another 200 and Mike calls. River 6c, Rod bets 200 again and Mike calls with a flush. All over. Didn’t get paid much but Mike said he would have called an all in…. DAMN.
