After around 7 hours of play we had a 9 player final with Ashleigh Simpson leading the pack on 173,000 in chips and Peterborough’s Ben Farrow the short stack on just 13,000. Previous VEGAS100 qualifier Jake Norfield was looking to qualify for the 2nd time in a couple of years at just 21 years of age. But it was Rob Benzie and Mark Warner who shone throughout the final with both gradually increasing their mid-range stacks. The heads-up match was a brief encounter with big stack Mark Warner wasting no time in claiming victory as his A-J beat Rob’s K-10 on a board of 8-7-4-2-2. Congratulations Mark.
