Our South West final was hosted by the Grosvenor Casino in Plymouth. A near perfect attendance took their seats with the hope of leaving the casino with a ticket to Vegas.

The best performing venue, the Tyacks Hotel, brought two finalists in Arthur Randell and Matthew Gill along with Peter Hart and Peter Davies.

Once again our final started with a big chip leader. This time it was Matthew Gill on 170,000 chips. So, the chase was on as Danny Cannarella fell first in 10th place with serial finalist Paul Stevens 9th, Nick Parker 8th, Jake Laing 7th, Craig Pechkaytis 6th, Jimmy Finn 5th, RPT Torquay champion Graham Riley 4th & Matthew Gill in 3rd. Gary Pyke & Arthur Randell contested the heads-up battle in which Gary Pyke eventually emerged victorious. Gary’s A-Q kept it’s lead against Arthur’s A-6 on a 9-A-10-K-8. Congratulations Gary Pyke
