This is Caroline stuck in the snow outside our office. The entire office park is inaccessible at the moment but some of our more local staff have climbed there way in over the last couple of days (well done guys!). It does mean however that following advice we are having to postpone our regional finals arranged for this weekend…

The always helpful Gala Casino in Edinburgh hosted our South Scotland Regional Final. Bad weather conditions meant there was a slightly lower field than usual but we didn’t let that prevent everyone from having a good day out.

Well done to Jeff Gutteridge who hit the first Royal Flush of the week, beating a straight flush at the Tadcaster Arms, Armthorpe on Sunday of last week. This was then followed by Paul Lawless of 147 Snooker Club in Sheffield, who achieved his very first Royal Flush on Tuesday playing 10Jc and hitting QKA on the flop.
A regal week in South Yorkshire, maybe it was inspired by the Queens visit to Sheffield earlier this month.
