Stewart Ross of The Talbot in Worcester was pleased to accept his prize of free beer for a year from Carlsberg this week!
Stewart is the 50,000 player to register in the Redtooth Poker League and had no idea of the prize until contacted. To celebrate the event, Lee Sharpe who played for Manchester United and England came along and played in the tournament alongside JP Round from Carlsberg and also Jon Young, editor of World Poker Tour Magazine.
There were bounties on the head of each guest player and it wasn’t too long before each player was knocked out with the winners taking home a Carlsberg Poker table, a gallon of beer and a years subscription to WPT magazine.
