Attention tournament directors! – Please note that the season ends on Saturday 7th November and we need your final tournament reports by Friday 13th November. We also need your play-off winner by Monday 16th November and with the ongoing postal strikes this could cause a problem in getting these to us.

We do operate a self managed option – you are able to add your players and your scores instantly via the internet and also email and text your players each week. Please call us to discuss this as this is the best way of avoiding disruption due to the postal strikes.

At the International Brotherhood of Magicians Convention in Southport last weekend, the annual Poker Cup tournament took place, sponsored again by Redtooth Poker.

The winner was Noel Britten with Tim Smithies (from Redtooth!) in second place. The picture is of Noel recieving the special cup from John Archer at approx 2.30am.

The event takes place each year and features some of the worlds top magicians but no-one cheats… it’s the only place they would get caught!

Riley’s staff from 59 clubs from the length and breadth of Great Britain attended four training sessions in Glasgow, Leeds, Luton and Bristol. Riley’s clubs this week start running the Redtooth Poker league in their venues as well as the rebranded Ace of Clubs tournament.

Redtooth Director Martin Green, Poker Manager Caroline Drury, Chief Tournament Director Mark Briggs and National Account Manager Jeff Drinkwater were on hand at the training sessions.

The addition of the Riley’s venues to the Redtooth Poker league takes the number of participating venues to over 1,100, making Redtooth by far the largest pub poker league in the UK.

The Grosvenor Casino was the venue for the final Riley’s King of Clubs toournament before Redtooth take over the organisation of the competition and it is rebranded the Ace of Clubs.

70 players from clubs in the north of England and Scotland arrived in Leeds to play for the £9,000 prize fund.

Redtooth this year took over the sponsorship of Wolverhampton’s New Cross Hospital Kidney Patients Association Golf Day. Having competed in the golf day for the previous nine years, the team representing Redtooth secured their first ever victory.
