Redtooth were at the NUS Convention at the Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool on Sunday 16th March. 32 delegates were invited to play in a tournament on the first night of the convention and representatives from universities all around the country battled it out for the trophy. John Valerkon from the University of Essex came out on top and won a pair of tickets to see Liverpool entertain Manchester City in their Premier League clash later this season. Tim Johnson was the runner-up and he won a set of Redtooth poker chips.

60 pubs in the north west are playing in the Carlsberg sponsored JW Lees Poker Tournament starting on the 16th March. The tournament runs over a six week period with the top two players from each outlet qualifying for the ‘Grand Final’ on 1st June. All the players who reach the final table at the JW Lees Carlsberg will qualify for the Redtooth Poker ‘Grand Final’ in March next year.
Simon Gibson, Senior Regional Marketing Manager for Carlsberg UK commented, "We were looking for a way to increase footfall and drive sales on quieter nights and Redtooth Poker provides us with an ideal solution."

Brian Greenhalgh, Licensee, Blue Bell, Manchester, "Redtooth Poker has been a great success. We had over 70 players register to play and fifty players turn up to play regularly on a weekly basis. I have increased sales on a Tuesday night by £600 for an investment of £20 a week. Fantastic!!!"

A wonderful day was had at the George IV in Chiswick. With players from all over the region battling it out to be the champion, there could be only one winner and Alex McGookin was just the man.
