Our South Scotland regional final was played at the Grosvenor Casino in Glasgow as another VEGAS100 seat was contested. £500 was also awarded to the day’s top finishers along with a team event trophy in what turned out to be a great day of poker.

The first award was the team event trophy which went to the day’s best represented venue. The winner on this occasion was the Oakwood Lounge in Alloa in just their second Redtooth Poker season. Congratulations to Fraser Brown, Mark Fraser, Micheal Cousins & David McMillan.

Norbert Szalai led the 9 player final table on 75,000 chips with Margaret Nilsson the short stack on just 19,000. When Ryan Graham exited in 3rd placed we were down to our final 2 players in Craig Chalmers and Tony Gallagher with Tony being in this situation only 3 months ago. Last time Tony missed out to Jamie Todd in 2nd place but on this occasion he went one better by winning the tournament as his K-J defeated Craig’s J-7 on a A-Q-10-8-2 board. Congratulations Tony!
