Our online pub league has proven to be a tremendous success with over 800 players playing in the weekly tournament. Players have praised the tournament for its unique concept and how well it has been structured. Poker manager of Betfred, Alex Nichols said “The Redtooth Tavern offered players the chance to get to the regional finals for free and offered a great platform for players to develop their online skills. Having personally followed the league throughout it was clear that the games were played in a great spirit and it is a testament to Redtooth and the popularity of the league that the numbers were growing week on week”.

After numerous levels of not seeing decent cards and not being able to steal the blinds, Brett finally looked down at Ac Jc on the big blind. There had already been a raise from the player in seat 5. Brett thought he could push the player off the pot with his all-in bet, he was wrong and the player called quickly with Qh 10s.
The flop came Ks 7d 10d…….Turn 3h……River 5s.
Brett lasted 10 hours of play and finished in 176th position but loved his time on the poker rollercoaster! He not only got to hang out with some of the UK’s best poker pro’s but got the chance to play for a share of the £100,000 prize pool…..courtesy of Redtooth Poker
Get em next time Brett!!!!

Brett has had some bad luck folks……He put a nice raise in from under the gun and only small blind called. Flop came 2c 4h 7d…Brett raised with his over pair but his opponent re-raised him, so Brett went all-in……player called in a flash. Turn card came 4c and the river came 2s.
Unlucky Brett

After waiting nearly 1hr 30 mins to see a hand Brett certainly did that. Brett looks at down pocket kings once again, this time he felt he might get a customer after a raise in an earlier position pre flop……and so he did! The chips managed to go all in pre flop. Ac Qs Vs Brett’s Ks Kh……………..Flop came Qc Kd 4d…….Turn 7h…….River 10c. Brett is now stacked up at 29k.
Average stack 16k……..
222 still left in…….

Brett looks down at As 2c and flat calls. “I’m trying to see as many flops as i can early doors and get lucky”. Four players in the pot and the flop comes Ah 2s 8c. Brett was first to act and bet! Only 1 player called. Turn card was 4d and Brett bet again, player in seat 5 goes over the top and Brett quickly calls. Other player shows Ac Kh but unfortunately Brett takes down his first big pot of the day to put him on 15.4k.
Come on Brett!

UK Pub Poker Champion Brett Shufflebottom not only collected £2,500 cash, magnum of champagne and a prestigious trophy for winning the national final but also Redtooth Poker has agreed to enter Brett into a number of high profile tournaments starting with Dusk Till Dawn’s Monthly Deepstack with a guaranteed prize pool of £100,000.
Brett met myself and the Redtooth Poker girls (Carli and Lauren) around 1pm in the bar/restaurant. I have personally played in this tournament a couple of times and briefed Brett on blind levels etc.
Brett was drawn in seat 3 on table 37. Stephen Pearce was the high profile name on the table (winner of the Barcelona Open and World Heads Up).
Other high profile names include Julian Thew, Roy Carrol, Micky Wernick, Sam Trickett, James Mitchell.
