RPT London

February 14th, 2018

The final leg of the 2017/18 Redtooth Poker Tour signed off in style in the capital with 150 runners competing for the final RPT VEGAS100 golden ticket. The winner of the leaderboard would also be found but there were still 25 players in with a chance of overtaking Liam Hamilton at the top. When Colin Gray exited in 9th place, the race for the guest ticket was over as nobody else remaining could catch Liam. Liam, who has already secured a VEGAS100 2018 seat now gets a free guest ticket to go with it, congratulations Liam!

As for the tournament winner, season ticket holder Phillip Longley took down the final RPT leg to win his first VEGAS100 seat. Phillip beat Londoner Mark Matthews heads-up to end the tournament as the winner. Good luck in Vegas Phillip, who will now be playing for a share of a £25,000 prize-pool!

RPT Cardiff

January 19th, 2018

The penultimate leg of the tour visited Cardiff in Wales for only the 2nd time in 5 years and it clearly showed as the demand for tickets was very high with the event soon selling out and producing a long waiting list. After a long battle at the tables we had our 3rd female winner from the 7 legs in Diana John. VEGAS100 2017 runner-up Rob Wibberley had a strong showing in 3rd place with Nick Clifton hitting his 2nd consecutive final table. Diana has previously represented Team GB at the World League Poker Championships in Las Vegas but will now get to experience VEGAS100 in just 5 months time and battle to become the next UK Pub Poker Champion.

RPT Nottingham

December 19th, 2017

Leg 6 of the Redtooth Poker Tour came to Nottingham in what was the Christmas leg of the tour. This meant Christmas jumpers were out in force along with some Santa outfits, reindeers and elves. There was also a prize for the best dressed which was judged by card room manager Jack Creed. After a near 11 hour battle the tournament was won by Thomas Furber who produced a dominant display after leading the tournament for the vast majority of the final 3 hours of play. Congratulations Thomas and good luck in Las Vegas.

Andrew Findlay from the Star & Garter in Portsmouth has won himself a guest ticket on the VEGAS100 2018 trip. In the recent Grosvenor Championships of Online Poker (GCOOP), Andrew took down the Redtooth ‘hi’ event for over £1,000 and we added a VEGAS100 guest seat on top of his prize money.
