A cracking turnout for our second Wales final of the weekend produced another Welsh national finalist at the Grosvenor in Cardiff.

Long time Redtooth Poker venue, the Cwrt Rawlin Inn in Caerphilly, clinched the team event trophy thanks to members Carl Watson, Ryan Birch, Lee Smith and Darren Sanderson.

A fairly evenly stacked final table saw Darren Sanderson exit in 10th place. Lee Jenkins was out in 9th with Vincent Starr in 8th. Jason Rhodes left in 7th, Lee Smith in 6th, Simon Mitchell in 5th, Chris Newport in 4th and Stephen Johns in 3rd. The heads-up match saw Lucy Hole go up against Mark Twohigg. The final hand saw two big heads-up hands go head to head with Mark’s A-Q vs. Lucy’s K-7. The board ran out 7-A-9-6-10 to make Mark Twohigg the new Wales Two champion. Congratulations Mark!
