A 10 player final had Peter Britton head the field with Daniel Carlisle the short stack. Lee Gill hit the rail first in 10th place with Jenny Crangle in 9th, Andrew Lines in 8th, Chris Proudfoot 7th, Rob Jardine 6th, Daniel Carlisle 5th, Nikki Cole 4th and Claire Myerscough 3rd. The two big stacks at the start were the two players left standing as Peter Britton and Keith Dobinson battled for the trip to Vegas. The final hand saw Peter have the best of it with K-Q to Keith’s 8-9 and on a board of Q-J-6-J-3 Peter raked in the pot and was crowned the new North East champion.
