A great day was fully enjoyed as 24 players took to the felt for the final of the Batemans Poker League. A.Powell from the Napoleon lll took the title but not without his fair share of luck whilst heads-up. The final hand saw his 4c7d spike a 4 on the turn to outdraw T.Hoyles’ Kc9s and with still one card to come, salt was rubbed further into the wounds as A.Powell proceeded to make two pair on the river. A.Powell takes home a much sought after Redtooth glass trophy and a cheque for his efforts.

This is the current top 10 of our online league who all stand to qualify for the next Regional Finals and with only one week left there is still a lot to play for! Addickted4ever looks to have an unassailable lead, although xJALBSCx can still steal it at the death but that seems very unlikely with only one week left. Well done to the ten players that have grasped those important seats in the National Final through the online tournament in association with Betfred Poker. Tension was great on the final table at the Cabin in Sedgley as players battled it out for valuable points. The Cabin was one of the first venues to play in the Redtooth Poker league when it began in February 2007.
