VEGAS100 May 2020 (Rescheduled) Due to Covid-19

March 31st, 2020

After numerous days looking at various options and alternatives, we have come to the exceptionally hard decision to reschedule the VEGAS100 2020 trip to early 2021.

With America’s boarders still closed to most foreign travel, and with no site to their reopening we just couldn’t run the risk of traveling this May. Add to that, people’s current financial uncertainty and the dramatic fall in the Pound against the Dollar.

The positive news is that we have managed to secure alternative flights for early 2021 and provisionally rebooked The Orleans. Transportation to and from the airport in Las Vegas has also been rescheduled. We will be announcing these dates as soon as we have had the accommodation signed off.

We have received lots of emails with queries and questions regarding this so we would like to thank all our VEGAS100 qualifiers and guests for their patience and for giving us the time to look at the multiple options we thought of as a team.

After polling nearly 50% of the VEGAS100 qualifiers by phone we soon established that the majority of players preferred to hold off until next year as opposed to a UK final. VEGAS100 is our core brand, an experience that creates memories for life, we want to ensure you that the VEGAS100 2020 will achieve the same high standards and experience as previous finals.

As mentioned in previous posts guest balances are currently on hold until we can get back into the office – once we are back in action, we will be able to provide more details.

Please continue following our Facebook page, VEGAS100 group, and website for updates.

Redtooth Poker Statement 17/03/20

March 17th, 2020

Redtooth Poker Update – Live Casino Events

In light of the Governments latest advice, all Redtooth and NUTS poker live casino events are suspended up to the end of April. The situation will then be reviewed.

The North & South National Finals will now be played on-line via Grosvenor Poker. We will announce the new date by the end of this week.

The RPT Blackpool weekender will stay as a live event and will be rescheduled.

The 3 NUTS Poker National/UK finals that were scheduled to take place in April will also be rescheduled.

All players affected will be sent further updates in due course.

Redtooth Poker Update – Pub Leagues

As to whether your pub poker league is to continue or be postponed, please seek advice from your venue manager. The decision is with them whether they want poker to be played in their venue or not. Obviously, we completely understand if they make the decision to postpone their poker league temporarily.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We look forward to getting back to normal as soon as we can, and making Redtooth Poker bigger and better than ever!

Coronavirus Update

March 13th, 2020

As you will be aware, the situation regarding the Coronavirus is changing daily, as is the advice being provided by Public Health England.

The government at present believes that banning large gatherings is one of the least effective measures a country can take, reducing the peak of the coronavirus by less than 5%. The virus is just as likely to spread within a smaller group such as those watching football in the pub as it would be in a large crowd.

Our scheduled events will go ahead as planned unless we are informed/advised otherwise by the government.

We are advising players and venues to follow the guidelines and procedures advised by the NHS and World Health Organisation.

• wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds
• always wash your hands when you get home or into work
• use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
• cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
• put used tissues in the bin immediately and wash your hands afterwards
• try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell

We would personally advise all players to wash their hands more regularly whilst participating in any tournaments.
If anything changes we will issue further updates.
