Your In-Zain!!!

June 22nd, 2009

Magic Lantern (North Shields) pub league winner Zain Said was a firm favourite to take down the North East regional final. His friends Ray Thompson and Scott Robinson must of had some inside information because they both managed to put a £2.50 bet on him at 20/1 to win.

Both Ray and Scott were paid out by Betfred, each scooping £52.50 for their trouble!

Ray said ” Scott and I decided to place a bet of £2.50 , @ 20/1..on Zain. £52.50 was paid out and as a kind gesture I passed the (Paid out) betting slip to Zain who was over the moon to be able to keep it. Scott and I will be placing further bets on future qualifiers as this was pretty cool to see our names on the betting slips.”
