The Grosvenor in Cardiff hosted our second Wales regional final which was run slightly differently to last time. One group of 67 would sit down for a morning session with the other 97 sitting down for an afternoon session. After each group had played for 4 hours, all remaining players would come back for an evening session with their finishing chip stack to find a winner.

Over 100 poker players from Manchester and the surrounding areas entered Manchester 235 Casino with the hope of taking that next step towards Las Vegas. The reality was that only five would progress to next year’s national final.

Only the second ever Redtooth Poker South West regional final was played at the Grosvenor Casino in Bristol. An impressive turnout were all fighting for a share of £1,000.

Our newest venue, the Circus Casino in Liverpool hosted a Redtooth regional final for the first time. Players from Liverpool, Blackpool and the surrounding areas sat down for the second of our North West finals. The top six would make the national final with an extra two places being awarded a cash prize.

Aspers in Northampton hosted their third Central England regional final for Redtooth. The top eight would all win a cash prize with the top seven claiming a much sought after national final seat.

One of Redtooth’s most established regional final venues, the Loose Cannon Club in London hosted the first of our two London finals. The usual eight cash prize winners will also be invited to Nottingham next year.

On Sunday 4th September Redtooth visited the Circus Caisno in Newcastle to host the North East regional final. 141 players would compete for eight cash prizes and six national final seats.

Or not! As the case may be for John Beech from the Goose in Croydon. John turned up at the Loose Cannon Club in London for the East London regional dressed as a Thunderbird! Unfortunately it didn’t improve his poker game as much as he’d of liked as he finished in a respectable 21st place.

Our second Scottish final of the weekend descended onto Edinburgh as the Gala Casino opened their doors to Redtooth and players. As always there would be £1,000 up for grabs.

The August bank holiday weekend got the latest regional finals under way. The G Casino in Aberdeen once again welcomed Redtooth and some of North Scotland’s finest poker players through their doors. £1,000 was shared between the top eight with three national final seats being awarded.
