The Grosvenor Casino in Newcastle hosted the 3rd leg of the Redtooth Poker Tour. This year’s Newcastle leg saw another increase in numbers from last year’s leg in the North East. At the end of an exciting day of poker action another trip to Las Vegas was awarded along with cash prizes and UK National Final seats.

Unfortunately we have had to rearrange the date of our North East Regional final due to the Great North Run taking place on our original date.
As you can appreciate the Great North Run causes a significant disruption to all routes in and around Newcastle so we have changed the date to Sunday 14th September.

The two biggest poker leagues in the country have merged in a significant deal.

Leg 2 of the Redtooth Poker Tour 2014 hit Dundee with an impressive 77 runners, a big improvement of 50 players on last year’s Glasgow leg. This meant £385 was paid out in prizes in addition to the £1,000+ top prize of a trip to Las Vegas next year. We also threw in 7 UK National Final seats, the most we have ever given away at a Scottish event.

Our final online GUKPT qualifier ran on Friday 13th June which saw Chris Tuzinkiewicz emerge victorious over 50 other Redtooth Poker members. Chris will now join Bud Chatwin & James Manlove in a GUKPT leg of their choice.

Chris Tuzinkiewicz plays Redtooth Poker at the Haywain in St Ives and is a regular at Redtooth events all over the country.
